Do you have an idea that can help dramatically lower the cost of instructional materials for students in your department?
The California Legislature has awarded SF State funding to expand the impact of Open Educational Resources (OER) to save our students money on the cost of materials.
Funding will go to departments who propose projects that target specific multi-section courses that currently use high cost instructional materials and impact a large number of students.
Each SF State department may submit one proposal for funding to support the efforts of faculty in adopting OER to reduce the cost of learning to students.
Amount of funding: $2,500 to $10,000 per proposal, depending on projected impact.
